Abstract:
This display device is provided with: a display panel having a plurality of pixel electrodes located in a display area, a common electrode located in the display area, and a display function layer located in the display area; a sensor having a plurality of detection electrodes disposed at least in the display area; and a control unit which controls driving of the plurality of pixel electrodes, the common electrode, and the plurality of detection electrodes. The control unit can make at least a portion of the display area of the display panel have a transparent state, and displays, in the display area, a first image associated with information detected by the sensor.
