Abstract:
Disclosed in the present disclosure are a display device system, and a method for adaptively enhancing image quality, which are used for performing enhancement processing on the image quality of different images to the greatest extent. The method comprises: acquiring an original image, and performing iterative detail enhancement processing on the original image by using at least one filter function that includes an iteratively updated filtering parameter; and when it is determined that the difference between a quality evaluation score of an input image and a quality evaluation score of a detail-enhanced image subjected to the ith iteration meets an iteration condition, updating a filtering parameter subjected to the ith iteration, so as to obtain a filtering parameter subjected to (i+1)th iteration, and continuing to perform detail enhancement processing on the input image by using at least one filter function that includes the filtering parameter subjected to the (i+1)th iteration until the difference between the quality evaluation score of the input image and a quality evaluation score of a detail-enhanced image subjected to the (i+1)th iteration meets the iteration condition. The display device system further comprises a display screen, which is configured to display a detail-enhanced image subjected to the last iteration.
