Abstract:
This display device includes, in a display section, a first region that displays a first image and a second region that displays a second image. In the first region, scan signal lines are scanned n lines at a time (n is an integer of 2 or greater). In the second region, the scan signal lines are scanned m lines at a time (m is a natural number smaller than n). Thus, power consumption can be reduced while maintaining the display quality of the main image.
