Abstract:

Provided are a display device and a television receiver which are capable of preventing chattering noise of a housing. A display device (10) is provided with a display unit (20) which has a screen for displaying an image on the front side, and a housing (30, 40) in which an opening is provided in a portion corresponding to the screen and which has a bottom wall (311, 4131), the display device is provided with a support plate (100) for supporting the display unit (20), and the support plate (100) is disposed to be in contact with the inner surface of the bottom wall (311, 4131) of the housing (30, 40). By having the above configuration, the display device and a television receiver can prevent chattering noise of the housing.
