Abstract:

This display device (100) is provided with: a display panel (2) containing a substrate attachment member (5) for covering a backlight light source (4b); and a cover member (6) which partially covers the rear surface of the substrate attachment member and which is disposed so as to expose a region of the rear surface of the substrate attachment member in the periphery of at least an outer circumference part (51). The substrate attachment member has side surface parts (51a, 51b, 51c, 51d), and the corner parts (51e, 51f, 51g, 51h) of the outer circumference part formed from the side surface parts of the substrate attachment member have a shape in which adjacent side surface parts are joined together with no space therebetween.
