Abstract:
This display device is provided with: a display unit that displays images; a wireless tag; a wireless communication unit that performs wireless communication with an external terminal device; and a control unit that performs switching of the operation state of the display device at least between a normal operation state and a power-saving state. When the control unit detects that, in the power-saving state, the wireless tag is communicating with the terminal device, the control unit shifts the operation state to the normal operation state, and the wireless communication unit returns to the normal operation state from the power-saving state, and establishes the wireless communication with the terminal device.
