Abstract:

This invention stores, in association with stored pre-configured local road information, already pre-captured images of a range corresponding to the periphery of one's own vehicle and processed images generated to correspond to the already captured images; configures, from the images of the periphery of one's own vehicle, a superimposed area, which is an area having lower clarity than a preconfigured clarity threshold; extracts, from among the stored images, superimposition images, which are images of the range corresponding to the captured images; generates, for the captured images, already superimposed images, which are images where an image of the area corresponding to the superimposed area is superimposed from among the extracted superimposition images; and displays a video formed from the generated already superimposed images in a location visible to the driver.
