Abstract:
When first and second images are projected toward the rear of a car body from a single projection means (18) disposed inside an instrument panel (13), the first image appears on a first screen (16) of transmission type provided on the instrument panel (13) so that the first image can be viewed from a cabin and the second image appearing on a second screen (17) of reflection type which is integrally provided at the lower portion of the first screen (16) is reflected on a reflection means (19) and projected on a front windshield (14) as a virtual image which can be viewed from the cabin. Therefore, the first image and the second image can be displayed on the instrument panel (13) and the front windshield (14), respectively, by using the single projection means (18), and it is thereby possible to reduce the weight, the number of components, the setting space, and the cost and also possible to make the cooperation of the first and second images easier.
