Abstract:
This display device for a vehicle is provided with: a display means (53) disposed on the upper surface of a vehicle instrument panel (3) in a position that shields the field of view in front of the vehicle; an imaging means (51) that can image the field of view in front of the vehicle that is shielded; and a control means (54) that can acquire vehicle information, displays this vehicle information on the display means, and displays the shielded field of view in front of the vehicle, which is obtained by the imaging means, in the background of the vehicle information that is displayed.
