Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a display device for a vehicle. The display device for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a display panel; a viewing angle control panel including a plurality of liquid crystal layers configured by liquid crystal; and a control unit, wherein the viewing angle control panel includes: a first liquid crystal layer including first liquid crystal having arrangement changed in a first direction which limits emission of light towards a driver's seat; and a second liquid crystal layer including second liquid crystal having arrangement changed in a second direction which limits emission of light towards a passenger seat, and the control unit may control at least one of the first liquid crystal layer and the second liquid crystal layer so that a viewing angle with respect to an area of the display panel is changed. Various other embodiments are possible.
