Abstract:
Provided are a display device with a touch panel and a manufacturing method therefor, with which touch sensing precision can be improved without reducing display quality. This display device with a touch panel comprises an active matrix substrate 1. The active matrix substrate 1 comprises a plurality of pixel electrodes 31, a plurality of facing electrodes 21 that form a capacitance between the plurality of facing electrodes 21 and the plurality of pixel electrodes 31, a plurality of wires 22 for touch detection, a first insulating layer 461, and a second insulating layer 462. Each of the wires 22 for touch detection is connected to one of the plurality of facing electrodes 21 and supplies a drive signal for touch detection to the connected facing electrode 21. The second insulating layer 462 is positioned between one pixel electrode 31 and one facing electrode 21. Additionally, the first insulating layer 461 is positioned on one wire 22 for touch detection, the second insulating layer 462 is positioned on the first insulating layer 461, and one facing electrode 21 is positioned on the second insulating layer 462.
