Abstract:
A display device capable of suppressing cost increase and relaxing restrictions on conversion colors, comprising a light emitting diode (first light emitting diode) (6), a display section (43) adapted to be transmission-lighted with a lighting color different from the color of the light from the light emitting diode (6), an illumination chamber (8) interposed between the display section (43) and the light emitting diode (6) and guiding the light from the light emitting diode (6) to the display section (43), and a fluorescent reflection coating (9) formed on the wall surface of the illumination chamber (8) for changing the color of the light which is incident on the display section (43).
