Abstract:
Provided is a display device having an optical sensor in a pixel region of an active matrix substrate. The optical sensor includes: a photodiode (D1) which receives an incident light; a photo diode (D2) which is connected in series to the photodiode (D1) and serves as a reference element having a light shading layer for the incident light; a capacitor (CINT) having one electrode connected to a connection point of the photodiodes (D1, D2) for accumulating an output current from the photodiodes (D1, D2); a reset signal wire (RST) which supplies a reset signal to the optical sensor; a read-out signal wire (RWS) which supplies a read-out signal to the optical sensor; and a thin film transistor (M2) having a control electrode connected to the connection point of the photodiodes (D1, D2).
