Abstract:
Provided is a reflective type display device which can perform handwritten display at a practical speed regardless of the handwrite input timing without degrading the display characteristic of an electrochemical display element.
The reflective type display device includes: a first storage means for storing a value X of the next display concentration to be displayed; a second storage means for storing a value Y of the display concentration being displayed; and a drive means for applying a write current to the respective electrochemical display elements in accordance with a comparison result of the values X and Y.
