Abstract:
Provided is a display device having excellent visual recognition, appearance, quality and design flexibility. A display device comprises: a display board (6) that has a display window (63); a display member (3) that has display parts (32, 33) viewable through the display window (63); and a driving member (4) that causes the display member (3) to move. The movement amounts of the display parts (32, 33) viewable through the display window (63) are used to display measured values. In the display device, the display member (3) comprises a strip member in which the display parts (32, 33) are provided and which has flexibility. Guide walls (guide members) (21, 22) for guiding the movement of the display member (3) along the display window (63) are provided behind the display board (6) that is below a display window (62) but is not directly therebelow. A reflecting means (5) is provided behind the display board (6) opposed to both the display window (63) and the display member (3). The reflecting means (5) reflects the images of the display parts (32, 33) toward the display window (63), thereby allowing the display parts (32, 33) to be viewed through the display window (63).
