Claims:
CLAIMS

I claim:

1. A display device comprising a body for receiving an object, wherein the device further comprises a support adapted for being removably mounted to the said body, a multimedia device adapted for being removably mounted to the said support, the said support comprises a base and a mounting member adapted for being rotated relative to the said base, the said multimedia device being mounted to the said mounting member is adapted to be rotated relative to the said base

2. The display device according to Claim 1, wherein the said support comprises a frame and a device cavity being defined within the said frame, the said multimedia device is removably mounted to the said device cavity

3. The display device according to Claim 1, wherein the said multimedia device is mounted inside the said device cavity

4. The display device according to Claim 2, wherein the said multimedia device is a multimedia player having a display panel, the said multimedia player comprises a data transmission member and a speaker.

5. The display device according to Claim 1, wherein a mean for allowing the said mounting member being rotated substantially coaxially relative to the said base is adapted for being mounted between the said base and the said mounting member.

6. The display device according to Claim 1, wherein the said base comprises the said device cavity, the said mounting member is adapted to be received inside the said device cavity such that the said multimedia device is received inside the said device cavity.

The display device according to Claim 1, wherein the said mounting member comprises a first supporting member and a second supporting member, the said first and second supporting members are substantially arranged apart from and parallel to each other, the said multimedia device is affixed between the said first and seconding supporting members.

8. The display device according to Claim 7, wherein the said mounting member further comprises a base supporting member adapted for mounting the said first and second supporting members together, the said first and second supporting members being extended from two ends of the said base supporting member are substantially vertically mounted to the said base supporting member.

9. The display device according to Claim 8, wherein the said second supporting member comprises a positioning convex member adapted to position the said multimedia device at a predetermined position of the said second supporting member.

10. The display device according to Claim 8, wherein the said multimedia device is mounted to the said mounting member.

11. The display device according to Claim 8, wherein the length of the said second supporting member is arranging from 1/5 to 1/2 of the length of the said first supporting member.

12. The display device according to Claim 11, wherein the size of the said base supporting member is increasing along from the said first supporting member to the said second supporting member.

13. The display device according to Claim 1, wherein the said display device is a watch box.

14. The display device according to Claim 1, wherein the said body comprises a cavity, the said support is mounted inside the said cavity.

15. The display device according to Claim 3, wherein at least four outer walls of the said multimedia device are mounted to the inner walls of the said frame.

16. The display device according to Claim 9, wherein two positioning convex member adapted for being received by a first concave region of the outer wall of the said multimedia device are mounted on the said second supporting member.

17. The display device according to Claim 9, wherein a power supply member being received by a power charging member of the said multimedia device is mounted on the said second supporting member.

A DISPLAY DEVICE

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a device for displaying an object. Specificially, the present invention relates a device for displaying or receiving a watch or jewellery and presenting or storing the multimedia content.

Background of the Invention

The display device could be widely used for the presentation of jewellery, watch and digital objects, etc. The watch and other objects should be placed in the display box for presentation. Along with the improvement of living standards, the people's requirements for the display box would be also gradually increased. The traditional display box is regarded as the static article, without any extra sound, video and other multimedia information.

Summary of the Invention

The technical problem to be solved in the present invention is to provide a user friendly display device that improves the structure of the display box or display device and is able to present and store the multimedia content. The other technical problem to be solved in the present invention is to provide a supporting structure of the design box or display device to order to allow the user to view the multimedia content in different directions.

The present invention relates to a display device comprising a body for receiving an object, wherein the device further comprises a support adapted for being removably mounted to the said body, a multimedia device adapted for being removably mounted to the said support, the said support comprises a base and a mounting member adapted for being rotated relative to the said base, the said multimedia device being mounted to the said mounting member is adapted to be rotated relative to the said base

Typically, the said support comprises a frame and a device cavity being defined within the said frame, the said multimedia device is removably mounted to the said device cavity. Typically, the said multimedia device is mounted inside the said device cavity.

Typically, the said multimedia device is a multimedia player having a display panel, the said multimedia player comprises a data transmission member and a speaker.

Typically, a mean for allowing the said mounting member being rotated substantially coaxially relative to the said base is adapted for being mounted between the said base and the said mounting member.

Typically, the said base comprises the said device cavity, the said mounting member is adapted to be received inside the said device cavity such that the said multimedia device is received inside the said device cavity

Typically, the said mounting member comprises a first supporting member and a second supporting member, the said first and second supporting members are substantially arranged apart from and parallel to each other, the said multimedia device is affixed between the said first and seconding supporting members.

Detailed Description of the Embodiments

The present invention relates to the improvement of the display device or display box. The display device or display box according to the present invention is equipped with the support, while the multimedia device is able to be mounted to the support. Therefore, the display device or display box could play the multimedia content and with simple structure and low cost.

Referring to an embodiment of the present invention (as shown in Fig. 1), the display device or display box can be a watch box or jewellery box or a container, including the body 11 for receiving an article or a watch or jewellery. Alternatively, the body 11 is made of the glass, wood or other materials, it has a device cavity or a concave accommodating chamber being arranged on the top of body 11; the support 13 is sealingly mounted to the device cavity; the multimedia device 21 is mounted to the support 13. In the embodiment, the multimedia device 21 is adapted to be removably mounted to the support 13. Preferably, the multimedia device 21 can be a MP3 player, MP4 player or other kind of multimedia device equipped with a display panel.

Typically, the device cavity or the accommodating chamber and the support 13 can be arranged on the top of body 11. Alternatively, they can be mounted to the side of body 11 or in the inner cavity of the body 11.

In Fig. 2 of the embodiment of the present invention, the support 13 is equipped with the frame

14 and the device cavity 15 is formed or defined within the frame 14. Alternatively, the device cavity 15 can be a device cavity with rectangular shape, the multimedia device 21 is adapted to be removably mounted inside the device cavity 15.

Referring to Fig. 3, the multimedia device 21 is of a rectangular shape such that it is easy to mount to the device cavity of the support 13. Preferably, the multimedia device 21 is a multimedia player equipped with the display panel and the built-in speaker, e.g. MP3 or MP4 player. The interface 25 or data transmission member is arranged on the side of multimedia device 21, e.g. USB interface used for charging and data transmission, etc. For example, when USB storage device is put into the USB interface, the memory module of the multimedia device 21 will read and store the audio/video data in USB storage device automatically, while the audio/video data in the memory module will then be updated. Thus, the user is able to update the audio/video data according to their needs. The user is able to display his own video / audio content when implementing the embodiment.

Referring to Fig. 4, preferably, the multimedia device 21 is sealingly mounted inside the device cavity 15 of the support 13. The support 13 is adapted to be removably mounted to the watch box or display box. Therefore, the display device or display box of the present invention has functional features of displaying the multimedia content. Further, the present invention is construed with a simple structure and with advantage of low manufacturing cost. More specifically, the most recent multimedia device is able to be applied to the present invention.

Referring to Fig. 5, Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 of the other embodiment, the support 13 comprises a base and a mounting member 18 adapted to be rotated relative to the base. For example, the mounting member 18 is able to mount to the base through a rotating mounting structure 17. Alternatively, the rotating mounting structure is a rotating shaft or two pins adapted for rotating an object. As such, the mounting member 18 is able to be rotated about a center shaft. Alternatively, the mounting member 18 is rotated about a axis between the two pins.

The base of support 13 comprises the device cavity 15. The mounting member 18 is able to be privotally mounted and received inside the device cavity. The multimedia device 21 is able to be mounted to the mounting member 18. Particularly, the multimedia device 21 is able to rotated relative to the base through the mounting member 18 and then received inside the device cavity 15. The mounting member 18 comprises a first supporting member 18a, the second supporting member 18c and a base supporting member 18b which is affixed to the first supporting member 18a and the second supporting member 18c. The first supporting member 18a and the second supporting members 18b being extended from two ends of the said base supporting member are substantially vertically mounted to the base supporting member 18b. The first supporting member 18a and the second supporting member 18b are arranged apart and substantially parallel to each other, should be parallel to and separated from the second supporting member 18c. The multimedia device 21 is clamped by or mounted between the first supporting member 18a and the second supporting member 18c. Advantageously, the multimedia device 21 supported by the base supporting member 18b.

The second supporting member 18c comprises a positioning convex member 19a which is used for mounting and positioning of the multimedia device 21. The positioning convex member 19a can be functioned as power supplying, charging, installation and positioning of the multimedia device 21.

Preferably, two positioning convex member 19a adapted for being received by a first concave region of the outer wall of the said multimedia device are mounted on the second supporting member 18c.

Preferably, a power supply member 19b being received by a power charging member or power input of the multimedia device 21 is mounted on the second supporting member. 18c

Preferably, the second supporting member 18c comprises a means for pivotally mounted to two opposing inner walls of the frame 14 or a shaft is mounted on a lower surface of the second supporting member 18c.

Preferably, the length of the first supporting member 18a is equivalent to 1/5 - 1/3 of the length of the second supporting member 18c; the size of the base supporting member 18b is gradually increased from the first supporting member 18a to the second supporting member 18c.

Alternatively, the length of the first supporting member 18a is equivalent to 1/4 - 1/2 of the length of the second supporting member 18c, the size of the base supporting member 18b is gradually increased from the first supporting member 18a to the second supporting member 18c.

Preferably, the base supporting member 18b is of a rectangular structure comprising two opposing straight sides adapted to mount to the first supporting member 18a and the second supporting member 18b respectively. Alternatively, two opposing inwardly curved sides of the base supporting member 18b are arranged in order to remove the multimedia device 21 from the support effectively.

Alternatively, the control devices for controlling the multimedia device 21 can also be arranged on the wall of the body, e.g. the switch for controlling the multimedia device, play sequence and screen brightness, etc.

Alternatively, a power supply for providing power to the multimedia device 21 can be arranged on the wall of the body such that the multimedia device 21 can be continuously operated for a long time.

Optionally, a light-emitting device can be mounted to the body, a light-emitting control module can be installed in the control device. The light-emitting device can be placed on the inner wall of display box cover or the base or on the inner wall of box cover and the base. Preferably, the light-emitting device is a color LED or other lighting device.

The present invention has been described in detail, with reference to the preferred embodiment, in order to enable the reader to practice the invention without undue experimentation. However, a person having ordinary skill in the art will readily recognize that many of the previous disclosures may be varied or modified somewhat without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the intellectual property rights to this invention are defined only by the following claims.
