Abstract:
This display device has a frame, a left-eye image display device (30) attached to said frame, and a right-eye image display device attached to the frame. Each image display device (30) has an image formation device (40) and an optical system (50) that directs an image from said image formation device (40) to the corresponding pupil of the viewer (10). Each of said optical systems (50) comprises a mirror (51) and a lens group (52). The image formation devices (40) are curved. A normal (NLL) to the mirror (51) in the optical system for the left-eye image display device and a normal (NLR) to the mirror (51) in the optical system for the right-eye image display device intersect in the space on the opposite side of the mirrors (51) from the viewer (10).
