Abstract:
A liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes a display panel (120), an intermediate frame (130) that holds the display panel (120), and an upper frame (110) that covers the display panel (120) from the display surface side. The intermediate frame (130) includes a placing section where a peripheral end section of the display panel (120) is placed, the upper frame includes a frame end section (115) that is disposed to face the peripheral end section of the display panel (120), and a distance (t12) between the frame end section (115) and the placing section disposed to face the corner section of the display panel (120) is larger than a distance between the frame end section (115) and the placing section disposed to face the center section of the display panel (120).
