Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent (EL) display device (1) provided with a display unit (3), wherein the organic EL display device (1) is provided with a base (substrate) (2) on which the display unit (3) is provided and which has flexibility, an inorganic film (6) provided on the base (2), a display element unit (7) for composing the display unit (3) and provided on the inorganic film (6), and a suppression unit (5) for suppressing the progression of a crack generated in the periphery of the base (2) and provided outward of the display unit (3).
