Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to implement a display device which enables short-distance wireless communication in a wide range of a display part of a display device while ensuring both conductivity for implementing an antenna function and transmittivity of light that forms an image to be displayed on the display device. A display device 100 is provided with a display panel 3, a driving antenna pattern 4, and propagation antenna patterns 5A, 5B. The driving antenna pattern 4 and the propagation antenna patterns 5A, 5B are electromagnetically coupled by driving the driving antenna pattern 4 at a predetermined carrier frequency by an antenna driving unit. As a result, short-distance wireless communication is enabled in a wide range of a display area AR1 of the display device 100.
