Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a compact display device. [Solution] This display device is characterized by including: a housing that has a pair of facing side-plate parts; a display member that travels a passage formed in the housing and that can move between a housed position, at which the display member is housed inside the housing, and a deployed position, at which the display member protrudes from the housing; a shutter that can move between a blocking position, at which the shutter blocks the passage, and a retracted position, at which the passage is opened; and a movement mechanism that is provided to at least one of the pair of side-plate parts, that has a drive member that moves along the passage and engages the display member, and that has a shutter drive member that engages the drive member and the shutter.
