Abstract:
A display device that has: a housing that has a pair of facing side-plate parts; a display member that can move between a housed position, at which the display member is housed inside the housing, and a deployed position, at which the display member protrudes from an opening in the housing; a movement mechanism that is provided to at least one side-plate part and that moves the display member between the housed position and the deployed position; and a cover member that is moved by the movement mechanism and that blocks a gap that forms an opening between the housing and the display member when the display member is in the deployed position.
