Abstract:
This display device comprises an optical sheet, and a holding member 4 that is provided on the peripheral-edge side of the optical sheet and that holds the optical sheet. The holding member 4 includes a latching part 46 that latches onto the optical sheet. The optical sheet includes a latched part 312 that is latched by the latching part 46. The latching part 46 has a movement prevention part 43 that sandwiches and holds the latched part 312 and prevents the latched part 312 from moving. Thus, disengagement of the optical sheet from the holding member 4 and positional deviation of the optical sheet are prevented when heat is generated during driving of the display device and the optical sheet undergoes thermal expansion.
