Abstract:
A liquid crystal television receiver 100 provided with a liquid crystal display panel 1 in which an image is displayed on one surface thereof, wherein are provided a retaining frame member 4 for surrounding lateral surfaces of the liquid crystal display panel 1, an interposed piece 7 interposed between the retaining frame member 4 and one lateral surface of the liquid crystal display panel 1, an inclined surface 71 formed at the end of the interposed piece 7 on the one-surface side of the liquid crystal display panel 1, and an opposing part 44 disposed so as to face an edge part of the other surface of the liquid crystal display panel 1, the other surface of the liquid crystal display panel 1 being disposed closer to the opposing part 44 than the inclined surface 71 in the thickness direction of the liquid crystal display panel 1. During assembly, the liquid crystal display panel 1 is slid on the inclined surface 71 of the interposed piece 7 and assembled with the retaining frame member 4, and even when the liquid crystal display panel 1 vibrates in the in-plane direction thereof due to an impact from the outside, for example, the liquid crystal display panel 1 is not displaced onto the inclined surface 71, and displacement of the liquid crystal display panel 1 is suppressed.
