Abstract:
Provided is a display device wherein the uniformity of luminance distribution on a display surface can be improved. The display device includes: a rectangular display panel on one surface of which an image is displayed; a substrate disposed to face the other surface of the display panel opposite the one surface, and having a plurality of light sources mounted thereon; a diffuser disposed between the display panel and the substrate; and a supporting member supporting the peripheral edge of the diffuser, and having an opening through which light from the light sources passes. The display device further includes a reflecting member provided around each of the light sources close to the four corners of the display panel, and reflecting the light from the light sources toward the corners.
