Abstract:
Provided is a display device having a novel configuration, which has different kinds of display elements, and in which a function as a position input device is added. The display device has a first pixel, a second pixel and a first circuit. The first pixel has a first transistor, a second transistor, and a first display element, the second pixel has a second display element, the first transistor has a function of controlling supply of image signals to a first electrode of the first display element, the gate of the second transistor is electrically connected to the first electrode, and the first circuit has a function of detecting the magnitude of the drain current of the second transistor.
