Abstract:
Provided is a display device with excellent display quality. The display device has a configuration in which, for each target block of a displayed image, the applied super-resolution processing is different. Specifically, an image analysis unit analyzes input image data, and identifies a target block inside a displayed image. The image analysis unit analyzes the target block data using a trained neural network, and controls an image splitting unit so as to split image data in accordance with the analysis results. Furthermore, the image analysis unit controls an image calculation processing unit having multiple super-resolution processing circuits to differenciate the applied super-resolution processing for each set of image data split in accordance with the analysis results.
