Abstract:
This display device is provided with a driver on the outside of a display region, and includes, on an edge of the display region, an irregularly-shaped part which has a curved shape or has the shape of an oblique line with respect to the extension direction of a signal line in the display region. A plurality of first-type circuit blocks and a plurality of second-type circuit blocks are formed on the outside of the irregularly-shaped part. The plurality of first-type circuit blocks are formed by forming a unit circuit of the driver in a rectangular region that has a first side parallel to the extension direction and a second side perpendicular to the first side and shorter than the first side. The plurality of second-type circuit blocks are formed by forming a unit circuit of the driver in a rectangular region that is formed by rotating the above rectangular region by 90 degrees.
