Abstract:
Provided is a display device that can implement thinning. The display device comprises: a display unit (20) that has a display screen; and a case (10) that has a front opening (10a) exposing the display screen and accommodates the display unit (20). The case (10) has: a metal case (11) made of a metal; and a resin case (12) that is formed integrally with the metal case (11), covers the outer surface of the metal case (11), and is made of a resin. Further, the display unit (20) has a display element (21) and a light source (22) configured to illuminate the display element (21), and the case (10) has a heat dissipation part (18) which is thermally connected to the display unit (20) in order to dissipate heat generated by the light source (22) and in which the metal case (11) is exposed.
