Abstract:
A display device (10) comprising: a stand-type display panel (11) that displays video images; a main body unit (12) that includes at least one out of a speaker that outputs sound related to the video images, a signal processing circuit for displaying the video images on the display panel (11), a wireless module that communicates wirelessly with an external device, a power supply circuit that supplies power to the display panel (11), and a signal input terminal to which video images are input; an arm (13) that supports the display panel (11) and the main body unit (12) at either end thereof; a support column (14) that supports a structure having a fulcrum (13a) at a location in the arm (13) that matches the center of gravity of the structure comprising the display panel (11), the main body unit (12), and the arm (13); and a base (15) that supports the support column (14).
