Abstract:
Provided is a high-definition display device. Also provided is a display device having both high display quality and high definition. The display device comprises: a plurality of first light-emitting elements; and a plurality of second light-emitting elements. The first light-emitting elements each include a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer, a common layer, and a common electrode. The second light-emitting elements each include a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer, a common layer, and a common electrode. The first and second EL layers are provided separately from each other such that the respective lateral surfaces face each other. In the first EL layer, a first light-emitting unit, a first intermediate layer, and a second light-emitting unit are layered. In the second EL layer, a third light-emitting unit, a second intermediate layer, and a fourth light-emitting unit are layered. The first and second light-emitting units each have a first light-emitting layer which emits light of a first color, and the third and fourth light-emitting units each have a second light-emitting layer which emits light of a second color different from the first color.
