Abstract:
The present invention provides a display device with high definition or high resolution. This display device has a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, a first color filter, and a second color filter, wherein: the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element each have a function for presenting white light; the first color filter and the second color filter each have a function for allowing the transmission of light of a different color from the light presented by the light-emitting elements; the first light-emitting element has a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer on the first pixel electrode, and a common electrode on the first EL layer; the second light-emitting element has a second pixel electrode on an insulating layer, a second EL layer on the second pixel electrode, and a common electrode on the second EL layer; the first light-emitting element has a region in which the angle formed by the side surface of the first pixel electrode and the bottom surface of the first pixel electrode is 60 degrees to 140 degrees, inclusive; and the ratio (T1/T2) of the film thickness T1 of the first pixel electrode with respect to the film thickness T2 of the first EL layer is 0.5 or greater.
