Abstract:
The present invention provides a highly reliable display device. This display device comprises a first light emitting device, a second light emitting device that is arranged so as to be adjacent to the first light emitting device, and a first insulating layer; the first light emitting device comprises a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer that is arranged on the first pixel electrode, and a common electrode that is arranged on the first EL layer; the second light emitting device comprises a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer that is arranged on the second pixel electrode, and a common electrode that is arranged on the second EL layer; a part of the first insulating layer is arranged in a position where the part is sandwiched between a lateral edge part of the first EL layer and a lateral edge part of the second EL layer; the first light emitting device emits blue light; the second light emitting device emits light in a different color from the first light emitting device; the first EL layer comprises a first light emitting unit that is arranged on the first pixel electrode, a first charge generation layer that is arranged on the first light emitting unit, and a second light emitting unit that is arranged on the first charge generation layer; and the second EL layer comprises a third light emitting unit that is arranged on the second pixel electrode.
