Abstract:
Provided is a display information generation device which displays information for guiding a mobile object in such a manner as to enable more intuitive and immediate recognition of the information.
A navigation device (SS) provided with a display (6) that moves with a vehicle acquires distance information indicating the distances from the position of the vehicle to facilities located on both sides of a road on the basis of position information indicating the position of the vehicle, and further acquires condition information related to a discrimination condition regarding the display of icons that display the facilities. A display data generation unit (3) arranges and displays, on the display (6), the icons indicating the respective facilities on the basis of the position information, the distance information, and the condition information. In this case, the display data generation unit (3) displays, separately from the icons, an accompanying mark corresponding to accompanying information accompanying a facility at a display position on the display (6) corresponding to the display position of the icon indicating the facility accompanied by the accompanying information.
