Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a display method and an electronic device. The method is applied to a first electronic device, and the method may comprise: a first electronic device detecting a first operation for starting a first application; the first electronic device matching a window of the first application; and when the first electronic device determines that the matched window of the first application is in the first electronic device, migrating the window of the first application to a second electronic device for display. The technical solution can be applied to a screen projection technique. When an application is switched from a first electronic device to a second electronic device, data and the state of the application can be saved, and the application is prevented from being restarted.
