Abstract:
Provided are a display module and a terminal device, relating to the technical field of display. The display module comprises a display panel (PNL), a flexible circuit board (FPC), and a conductive protection layer (TAP). The display panel (PNL) is provided with a display area (AA) and a peripheral area (WA) located outside the display area (AA). The peripheral area (WA) comprises a bendable fan-out area (FA). The fan-out area (FA) is provided with a panel binding portion (PA), and is provided with a driving chip (DIC). The flexible circuit board (FPC) comprises a first conductive layer (ML1), a second conductive layer (ML2), and a substrate separating the first conductive layer (ML1) from the second conductive layer (ML2). The first conductive layer (ML1) comprises a first binding portion (BA1), a second binding portion (BA2), and a connecting portion connecting the first binding portion (BA1) and the second binding portion (BA2). The second conductive layer (ML2) is located at the side of the first conductive layer (ML1) away from the display panel (PNL), and at least partially overlaps with the first binding portion (BA1). The first conductive layer (ML1) and the second conductive layer (ML2) are connected by means of a via hole (HO) penetrating through the substrate. One end of the flexible circuit board (FPC) is bound with the panel binding portion (PA) by means of the first binding portion (BA1). The second binding portion (BA2) is used for being bound with a control circuit board (PCB). The conductive protection layer (TAP) covers the driving chip (DIC) and is connected to the second conductive layer (ML2).
