Abstract:
A display module and a usage method thereof. The display module comprises a self-luminescent display panel, the self-luminescent display panel comprising a first substrate (111), a second substrate (112), and a self-luminescent circuit layer (113), the self-luminescent circuit layer (113) being positioned between the first substrate (111) and the second substrate (112), and the self-luminescent circuit layer (113) comprising a plurality of display pixel units (1131); each display pixel unit (1131) comprises at least one light non-transmissive area and at least one light transmissive area (11311); and also comprising a light transmissive medium layer (120); an optical fingerprint sensor (130), the optical fingerprint sensor (130) being positioned below the light transmissive medium layer (120); and a dot backlight source (140), the dot backlight source (140) being positioned below the second substrate (112) and at the side of the light transmissive medium layer (120), and the light ray emitted by the dot backlight source (140) entering the light transmissive medium layer (120) from the side face of the light transmissive medium layer (120) at an oblique upward angle, and entering the second substrate (112) from the light transmissive medium layer (120) at an oblique upward angle. The display module thus effectively integrates an optical fingerprint recognition function.
