A display panel (310) and a display device (300) having the display panel (310). The display panel (310) comprises a substrate (311), a plurality of pixels (312), and black matrixes (313), wherein the plurality of pixels (312) are arranged on the substrate (311) in the form of an array; the pixel (312) comprises a plurality of sub-pixels, the black matrixes (313) are disposed on the substrate (311) and located among the sub-pixels, the black matrixes (313) between two adjacent pixels (312) have the same width, and the black matrixes (313) between two adjacent sub-pixels in each pixel (312) have different widths. When light emitted in an obliquely straight line by a backlight module (320) passes through the display panel (310), interference fringes that result from optical diffraction produced by the light together with the black matrixes (313) of the display panel (310) do not occur, and therefore the quality of display of the display device (300) is not degraded; in addition, there is no need for aligning every light guide element (322) with a sub-pixel, reducing processing difficulty greatly and making the display panel easier for industrialization.
