Provided is a novel display panel that has excellent convenience or reliability. According to the present invention, a pixel circuit comprises a first switch, a node, a capacitive element, and a second switch. The first switch comprises: a first terminal to which a first signal is supplied; and a second terminal that is electrically connected to the node. The capacitive element comprises: a first terminal that is electrically connected to the node; and a second terminal that is electrically connected to the second switch. The second switch comprises: a first terminal to which a second signal is supplied; and a second terminal that is electrically connected to the second terminal of the capacitive element. The second switch functions to change from a non-conducting state to a conducting state when the first switch is in a non-conducting state and to change from the conducting state to the non-conducting state when the first switch is in the non-conducting state. A display element performs display on the basis of the potential of the node.
