Abstract:
A display panel such as a plasma display panel which is given a function such as an electromagnetic shielding capability by integrating it with an electromagnetic shielding material. To the front face of a plasma display panel (20), there is adhered with a transparent adhesive (4A) a transparent film (2) which has a conductive pattern (3). This conductive pattern (3) is formed by chemical vapor deposition into a mesh shape having a line width of 50 microns or less and an aperture ratio of 75 % or more. The conductive pattern is formed by printing dots (12) on a transparent film (11) with a material which can be dissolved in a solvent such as water. A conductive material layer (13) is so formed as to cover all over the dots (12) of the film (11) and all the exposed faces of the film (11) between the dots (12). The film (11) is rinsed with a solvent such as water. As a result, the soluble dots (12) are dissolved, and the conductive material over the dots (12) are separated and removed off the film (11). Over the film (11) is formed a conductive pattern (14) which is made of the conductive material in the regions between the dots.
