Abstract:
Provided is an active matrix type display panel (10) having a display unit (12) where pixels (30) are arranged. A photo sensor is arranged in the display unit (12). An output signal from the photo sensor is transmitted via a source bus line (20) to a peripheral region (13). A photo sensor output line (50) used for transmission of output signals and a non-photo sensor output line (52) not used for transmission are arranged in such a manner that the both lines can be mutually connected. A photo sensor output shared switch (60) is arranged to perform switching between connection and the disconnection between the lines (50, 52).
