Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application is a display panel, comprising: a panel body, said panel body comprising cover plate glass and substrate glass; the cover plate glass and the substrate glass both have a fitting surface and an outer surface which is opposite to the fitting surface, wherein the outer surface of the cover plate glass and the outer surface of the substrate glass are provided with an anti-cracking layer at least at a peripheral region corresponding to a preset grooving area of the panel body. According to the method for cutting a panel body adopted in the present application, an anti-cracking layer is formed at the outer surface of the cover plate glass and at the outer surface of the substrate glass, and is used to reduce the phenomenon of edge breakage and fragmentation of the panel body when cutting a groove, to reduce the phenomenon of cracks being generated in the cover plate glass and the substrate glass, and to improve the overall strength of the panel body, thereby increasing product yield.
