Abstract:
Provided is a display panel comprising a backlight module, a first substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a second substrate and a glass cover plate. The second substrate is provided with a fingerprint recognition layer used to recognize fingerprint information of a user. In the present invention, the second substrate provided with the fingerprint recognition layer is arranged close to the glass cover plate, such that the fingerprint recognition layer is closer to a fingerprint of a user, thereby shortening a path along which light reflected from the fingerprint travels to a fingerprint recognition sensor, and improving fingerprint recognition performance.
