Abstract:
A display screen designer can easily set attractive colors, and working efficiency when designing is improved, while discrimination of displayed content is also improved to provide an easy-to-see screen to users. Information such as object arrangement, background and color settings is input to a setting information processing unit (51) based on prescribed operating input signals, and the unit performs various types of processing related to display screen setting. The setting information processing unit outputs display information for the designed screen and the designed screen is displayed on a monitor. A contrast calculating unit (53) calculates the color contrast between multiple objects, such as between the objects arranged on the designed screen and the background and between the multiple objects, using a prescribed calculation formula. The setting information processing unit (51) then outputs the contrast calculation results, and the contrast calculation results are displayed on the monitor and are clearly shown to the designer. After completion of display screen setting, the setting information processing unit (51) outputs the setting information and transmits the same to the target programmable operation display.
