A display substrate and an electronic device. The display substrate comprises a base substrate, a dielectric layer located on the base substrate, a pixel defining layer, a first electrode layer, and a second electrode layer. The first electrode layer comprises spaced first and second electrodes. The dielectric layer comprises a first recess corresponding to the space between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first recess is exposed from the space. The second electrode layer comprises a recessed structure at a position corresponding to the first recess. The pixel defining layer covers the first recess, and a second recess is formed. The display substrate has a cross-section perpendicular to the base substrate. The recessed structure comprises a first recessed point and a second recessed point located on the cross-section. In the cross-section and in a direction parallel to the base substrate, the distance L1 between a first side surface of the second recess close to the first electrode and an edge of the first electrode is greater than the distance L2 between the first recessed point and the first side surface of the second recess. The display substrate facilitates yield improvement.
