Abstract:
The present invention provides an inexpensive and simple display system suitable for a head proximity-type video display system capable of giving a user an impression as though the information amount of the actual visual information space were expanded. A portable terminal (2) is accommodated in an attachment comprising a proximity unit (41) and a terminal accommodation unit (42), and a display panel (62) is magnified by a lens (111) to allow the user to visually confirm (C) the display panel (62). The portable terminal (2) detects, using a sensor of the portable terminal (2), an action (D) of the user that involves touching the attachment, and controls video display on the display panel (62) in accordance with the detected action.
