Abstract:
Provided is a high definition display system having high display quality. This display system has a first layer and a display part. The display part is located in a region overlapping the first layer. The first layer has a semiconductor substrate that uses silicon as a material therefor, and a plurality of first transistors and a plurality of second transistors each including silicon in a channel forming region are formed on the semiconductor substrate. The first layer has a first circuit and a second circuit, the first circuit has a driving circuit for driving the display part, and the second circuit has a storage device, a GPU, and an EL correction circuit. The display part has pixels, and each pixel has a light emitting device including organic EL and is electrically connected to the driving circuit. The storage device has a function of holding image data, the GPU has a function of decoding the image data read from the storage device, and the EL correction circuit has a function of correcting light emitted by the light emitting device.
