Abstract:
This display system comprises an orientation detection device that detects the amount of orientation change of a mobile object, and a correction processing device including a vibration detection unit that determines, on the basis of the amount of orientation change, whether or not an orientation change of the mobile object having a specific frequency band component is occurring in an ongoing way for a certain time or longer. If the vibration detection unit determines that the orientation change of the mobile object having the specific frequency band component is not occurring in an ongoing way for a certain time or longer, the correction processing device updates the correction quantity of an image display position on the basis of the amount of orientation change, whereas if the vibration detection unit determines that the orientation change of the mobile object having the specific frequency band component is occurring in an ongoing way for a certain time or longer, the correction processing device makes the absolute value of the correction quantity less than or equal to the absolute value of the correction quantity in the previous determination.
