A display unit separating method according to the present invention comprises: a step of withdrawing a display unit seated on a cooling jig by opening a cooling door; and a step in which a glass separation unit injects gas to a separating gap between one side of an optical adhesive layer and a cover glass so as to separate the optical adhesive layer and the cover glass.
