Abstract:
Provided is a display with a pressure detecting function having no disturbances on a displayed image when being pressed and capable of displaying a highly visible image. This display comprises: a liquid crystal display 5 having a cover glass plate 21 thereon; a liquid crystal display storage part 6 that has a frame type wall 3a that supports the liquid crystal display by supporting the periphery of the cover glass plate of the liquid crystal display and has a flat bottom 4a arranged opposed to the bottom of the liquid crystal display and moreover defines a storage space 3b for storing the liquid crystal display; and a capacitive pressure detector 10 that includes a lower electrode 31 arranged at the bottom of the storage part and an upper electrode 32 provided in the liquid crystal display, and is configured to detect pressing force on the basis of a change in the capacitance between the lower electrode and the upper electrode.
